演讲摘要:

Stable, low noise, continuous wave (cw) laser sources with high output at 1.5 µm are very attractive for building the practical squeezed source and the continuous-variable entanglement at the communication wavelength. As a consequence, this kind of light source is strongly needed for developing the practical quantum communication, high precision measurement, and metrology. At first, We built up a stable, low noise, cw single frequency 1.5 µm laser generated by an output-coupled singly resonant optical parametric oscillator (SRO) based on a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) and a home madecw single frequency Nd:YVO4 laser at 1.064 µm as pump source. Upto 6.2 W of output was obtained. Then, a cw single frequency fiber laser at 1.5µm was used to get nonclassical state. After the mode cleaners were used to filter the noise of pump source, a vacuum squeezing at 1.5 µm was obtained using a semi-monolithic optical parametric oscillator (OPO) with type I periodically poled KTiOPO4(PPKTP) that operated below the threshold, and the EPR entanglement at 1.5 µm was generated using a nondegenerate optical parametric amplifier (NOPA) with type II PPKTP. And a 6.8 dB squeezed vacuum and an 8.4 dB entanglement at 1.5 µm were generated.
